This is a very cool idea, as most cities lack good, private, bike rental services. In Winnipeg, the one bike rental co-op that I stumbled across was renting out rickety old Frankenbikes at extortionate rates. While in Greece last summer, I was tempted to buy an inferior toy store bike for about $400 Canadian, and it wasn’t until my last day there that I discovered a grocery store that was selling them for much less. However, in the end I’d be leaving my family with a poorly-made bike that none of them would end up riding.
In a thought — great idea.
