That said, most self-styled photographers have abandoned DLSRs in favour of iPhones with Instagram installed, thus replacing their physical appearance as possibly artistic with hardly artistic photos.
I can’t find the expiration date on this, but I finally finished it and I’m anxious to get it processed. Despite taking my SLR to Greece with me, I didn’t shoot a single frame, so I’m worried that all of the x-rays might have torched the unused exposures. The last time that that camera went through x-ray machines, my family’s entire trip to Yugoslavia was lost. Then again, that was in the 1980s and completely insane Communist and RCMP officers were totally freaked out by the sight of a kick ass Pentax electro-spottie.
Well, Kodak has finally reached the end of the road and today filed for bankruptcy protection. It was a good run, but I anticipate that we’ll be seeing the results of still unknown Kodak innovation for years to come.
Congratulations to all of my friends who received $1500+ DSLRs for Christmas. Now don’t e-mail me with questions like “why is everything blue/fuzzy/white with outlines/too dark/all black?”, “how come my files won’t open up?” or “why won’t my Canon lens fit on my Nikon camera?” . You got yourselves into this mess.
So I’m DJing again, only this time with digital turntables and an understanding that DJ is nothing like making a mixed CD.
This is the sign of a cafe that I kept passing, but was never actually open, while I was in Greece.
